Companies that manufacture gears, gear products, and/or flexible couplings for sale as such, or as component parts of end-use products.
Dues are based on the total annual sales volume for the previous fiscal year. Total annual sales volume is defined as the total worldwide sales (in U.S. dollars) of all gears, gear products and flexible couplings whether sold as such, included in end-use products or as replacement parts.
There are minimum and maximum dues caps:
Minimum dues – $1,994 plus $471/$1,000,000 on sales over $1 million
Maximum dues – $19,052
CALCULATING DUES
Gross Worldwide Gear Related Income Annual Dues
Under $1,000,000 $1,994 (Minimum)
$1,000,001 – $37,000,000 $1,994 + $471 for each $1 million over $1 million
Over $37,000,000 $19,052 (Maximum)
Example Calculation:
World-wide gear income: $15M
- $15M – $1M = $14M
- $14M/$1M = 14
- 14 x 471 = $6,594
- $6,594 + $1,994 = $8,588.00
