February 23, 2022, Alexandria, VA โ The American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) hired two new employees that started in early February, Aaron Fagan and Colton Schlotman, who will be working for separate departments within AGMA. By hiring Fagan and Schlotman, AGMA will be able to leverage their knowledge to provide AGMA members with additional resources to gain exposure to the latest technology, news, education, events and more. Details on both employeesโ professional experience and positions are listed below.
Aaron Fagan, Senior Editor, Gear Technology
Aaron Fagan has joined the Media Division of AGMA, taking up the mantle of Senior Editor for AGMAโs Gear Technology magazine. In this role, he will be responsible for content across the Gear Technology brand, as well as being its primary brand ambassador. Fagan has worked on the editorial staffs for multiple lauded publications, including Scientific American, Aviation Week & Space Technology, Fine Homebuilding and Poetry.
Colton Schlotman, Digital Communications Specialist
The newest addition to the Business Division of AGMA, Colton Schlotman has taken on the Digital Communications Specialist position. In this role, he will handle both internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, social media and other similar functions. Schlotman has professional experience in software as a service (SaaS), search engine optimization (SEO), marketing, social media management, content writing, editing and publishing.
