April 4, 2022, Alexandria, VA — The American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) announced the changing of its Board of Directors at the 2022 AGMA Annual Meeting held March 31 through April 2 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Outgoing Board Members
The three outgoing members served from 2019 to 2022. They are:
- Zen Cichon, President, Avers Machine and Gear (Innovative Rack & Gear)
- Ruthie Johnston, President & CEO, Croix Gear & Machining
- Sara Zimmerman, Vice President, Business Development, Sumitomo Drive Technologies
Incoming Board Members
Additionally, AGMA welcomes four new members to its Board of Directors. These Directors will serve a three-year term, from 2022 to 2025. The new Board Members were elected by AGMA Corporate Members in the first quarter of 2022 and announced during the 2022 AGMA Annual Meeting.
The newly elected Board members are:
- Joe Goral, Director of Sales & Marketing, Bourn & Koch, Inc.
- Michelle Maddox, Sales & Business Development Manager, B&R Machine and Gear Corp.
- Nicole M. Wolter, President and CEO, HM Manufacturing
- Scott Yoders, Vice President, Sales, Liebherr Gear Technology, Inc.

The members include gear manufacturers from the United States, Mexico and Canada, as well as gearing interests from more than 30 countries around the world. AGMA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute to write all U.S. standards on gearing. AGMA is also the Secretary for Technical Committee 60 of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). TC 60 is the committee responsible for developing all international gearing standards. In addition to the holding the position of Secretariat, AGMA convenes the active ISO Working Groups related to gear inspection and testing.
