AUGUST 25, 2023 – ALEXANDRIA, VA – The American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) has released the full 2023 Fall Technical Meeting (FTM) schedule. The 2023 FTM will be in Detroit, Michigan from October 16 through October 18.
The 2023 FTM is divided into five sessions, each of which delves into different facets of the gear industry. They are as follows:
- Session 1: Efficiency, Lubrication, Noise & Vibration
- Session 2: Materials & Heat Treatment
- Session 3: Gear Wear & Failure
- Session 4: Manufacturing, Inspection, Testing & Quality Control
- Session 5: Application, Design & Rating
The speakers for each session, as well as each speaker’s company or university affiliation and paper abstract, can be found on the FTM webpage in the event’s full schedule. Receptions, breaks, and other important event information are also listed there.

The 2023 FTM is co-located with the 2023 Motion + Power Technology Expo (MPT Expo) in Detroit, which offers unique networking and business value for attendees to hear about the latest technology while seeing it on the show floor. Tickets for the 2023 FTM include entry to MPT Expo.
