Published AGMA Technical Committee Members, Chairperson’s Award Given at 2023 Fall Technical Meeting Awards Luncheon

October 17, 2023 – The American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) presented numerous awards during the 2023 Fall Technical Meeting (FTM) Awards Luncheon today in Detroit, MI. The event took place on the second day of the FTM, which is co-located with the 2023 Motion + Power Technology Expo. Awards were presented to AGMA technical committee members who have published a document within the last year and one AGMA member for the Chairperson’s Award.

The members of the AGMA Metallurgy and Materials Committee were awarded for publishing AGMA 923-C22, Metallurgical Specifications for Steel and Cast Iron Gearing. The following committee members were given awards:

The members of the AGMA Bevel Gearing Committee were awarded for their contribution to the publication of AGMA 929-B22, Calculation of Bevel Gear Top Land, Slot Widths and Cutter Edge Radii. Michael D’Arduini from Gleason accepted his award in person. Other committee members that were not able to attend this luncheon are:

The AGMA Chairperson’s Award was given to Justin Michaud, CEO, REM Surface Engineering for work on the Emerging Technology committees, specifically his leadership for the first-ever 3D Printing White Paper published by AGMA.
