Mary Ellen Doran

AGMA Vice President, Emerging Technology

Mary Ellen Doran has worked for the American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) for 14 years. Her early roles were in communications and web development, which took advantage of her graphic design degree. Her natural curiosity for knowledge led her to become an avid reader of all things manufacturing.

In 2017, she took a unique challenge of establishing an emerging technology program for the Association. Since that time, she has established a robust program for members that includes four committees focused in the areas of 3D printed metal, IIoT, electric vehicle technology and advances in robotics and automation. In June of 2021, she added the role of Executive Director, AGMA Foundation to her portfolio. She now works the dual roles moving the industry forward.
